Description:
Serpent & Dove is an upcoming YA debut novel by Shelby Mahurin. It's a novel about a witch-in-hiding that is forced to marry a witch hunter, set in 17th century France. It's one of my favorite books from this year that I had the opportunity to read before its official release.

With the illustrations provided, I wanted to create animations that matched the theme of the paintings, while also keeping with the overall dark and edgy feeling from the book and its plot. I was inspired by fashion design graphics, and I wanted to showcase the illustrations in this way.
